Keith and Karen hired their wedding cars from Paris Cars in Redditch. They picked two silver 1940s Citroen limousines. The cars had been found as wrecks and were lovingly restored and brought back to life. Unlike most wedding cars, they featured wider back doors, so it was easy for the bride to manoeuvre in her large dress.
The unique wedding cars, decked out with orange and black ribbons, transported Karen and her bridal party to the ceremony venue – St Peter’s Church in Wellesbourne, Warwickshire. Karen used to live in the area and had attended the church. She knew the vicar, Kate, would give a lovely service. As it snowed on the day of the wedding, the parishioners all chipped in and helped to clear the paths around the church.
