Julie and Andy celebrated becoming husband and wife with a reception at Elme Hall Hotel, a manor house with a grand portico front. It has a grand ballroom, which appealed to Andy and Julie, and they liked the fact there were lots of rooms, so the guests could stay overnight if they wished.
Guests at the reception enjoyed a three course meal, and a candy cart stocked with delicious sweets. Every guest got a scratch card as a wedding favour, and joker Andy gave his cousin a fake one, which led him to believe he’d won £50,000! Luckily he took the prank well. The tables were all named after different football grounds, with the top table named ‘Anfield’.
They hired wedding planner Gayle Cox from GDC Weddings to help them plan and to decorate the venue, and couldn’t praise her enough for her hard work and dedication!
