Julia went wedding dress shopping with her mother, sister and brother-in-law, to get a variety of opinions on such an important decision. The bride-to-be fell in love with the 8th dress she tried on, but seeing as it was out of her budget range decided to walk away. However, Julia’s dreams came true when she decided to ask a local seamstress to tailor-make a wedding dress for her, which meant that she could personalise the dress any way she wanted. Julia was over the moon with the final result.
The bride wore a pair of hot pink wedding shoes, to match her wedding colour scheme, and borrowed her sisters blue garter to wear under her dress. She also had Steve’s grandmothers lace handkerchief as her something old, and considered her gorgeous hair piece to be her something new. Julia hired professional hair and make-up artist Justina Sullivan to help her achieve her bridal beauty – which ended up lasting until 4am the next morning.
