Julia & Steve’s Real Wedding

Julia and Steve celebrated a traditional church ceremony at 1.30pm on the 19th of August, 2011.  They hired a beautiful barn to host their wedding reception and hand-made a lot of the details that were displayed throughout the day.  Steve works for the British Army and therefore the couple decided to weave the Union Jack in to their hot pink wedding colour scheme.

A Pink Bouquet

Steve and Julia had a church wedding and wrote their own vows to one another.  It was Julia’s sister Kerry who walked her down the aisle to the vocal sounds of ‘Your Song’, but they were greeted at the top of the altar by their father, who gave his daughters hand to Steve.

When it came to her wedding flowers Julia found an offer for Sue’s Flowers via Facebook and grabbed herself a fantastic special offer which included a second mini-bouquet.  Julia chose hot pink roses to match her wedding colour scheme, but when she tossed her bouquet, it unfortunately got stuck on a chandelier.  Luckily Julia had the mini-bouquet to toss instead.
