Jody & John’s Real Wedding

Jody and John wanted a very personal wedding, reflecting them as a couple; making the event relaxed and comfortable for all who attended. Wanting a white wedding, the couple bought a snow machine to make it just that. However, on the day, they woke to five inches of real snow making their dreams come true and started the day as it meant to go on…perfect…from start to finish.

The Cake

Mick, a family friend made Jody and John’s beautiful wedding cake. Pretty cupcakes with soft meringue topping and sprinkled with hearts filled 7 tiers of the stand while a small round cake wrapped in tartan ribbon took the top tier. Continuing their love for films, the couple chose to have Star Wars figures as their cake toppers, making it both personal and fun.

The guests were treated to the yummy cupcakes for dessert.

The whole day from start to finish reflected both the personalities and thoughtfulness of the bride and groom. In every detail of the wedding, you could see the time and effort they put in to making it memorable for all who shared their special day.

And the special moments were spectacularly captured by a young Matt Herrington, 13 years of age! Amazing photography from a very talented young man.
