To travel to their church wedding, the couple had a 1965 Ford Mustang, which is Ben’s all-time favourite car. The choice of car added lots of character to the day and was quite a masculine choice, which suited Ben just fine!
The wedding ceremony took place in the couple’s local church, Sarum St. Martins, in Salisbury. Joanne grew up attending church so it was important to her that she married in a church.
Joanne’s father walked her down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon in D, which is one of her all-time favourite pieces of music. Whilst the newlyweds signed the register, a pianist played Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years’, which is a meaningful song to Joanne and Ben.
