The wedding cake was a traditional, four-tiered, ivory creation. Jo and Nick picked the cake from Butterflies and Angels bakery, and opted for a different flavour for each tier, including orange and lemon, carrot, chocolate with strawberries and champagne and peanut butter for the top tier, which they kept for themselves! The cake had a pearlised lustre finish with dainty white roses iced on to it. It was topped with fresh orchids.
The couple are yet to go on honeymoon following their beautiful and elegant wedding. They plan on visiting Thailand in the summer to relax and unwind, although just how relaxing a honeymoon they’ll get with their toddler remains to be seen!
The only thing Jo would change about her special day is to get a picture of herself in her Hunter wellies and wedding dress! She advises brides to be to ‘save, save and save!’ as Jo and Nick believe you only get married once so you want to enjoy it!
