After the wedding ceremony the couple and their wedding party moved on to the Hotel Van Dyk, a luxury four star hotel. As Jo is a wedding coordinator herself, she knows of lots of venues in the area, and she knew she wanted one that was perfect so she could relax and enjoy her day. The couple loved the elegance of the Hotel Van Dyk and just knew they’d have their perfect day there.
60 guests had attended the ceremony, and they enjoyed a delicious wedding meal of soup or duck liver parfait with toasted brioche, followed by blade of Derbyshire beef, with fondant potato, yorkshire puddings, carrot puree and shallot jus. Dessert was a choice of lemon tart with Chantilly cream or sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and clotted cream. After dinner the bride’s father made a moving speech about his daughter, before the best man had everyone in stitches with his slapstick comedy and impressions of Nick!
