This incredible reception took place in Jo’s dad’s garden. The marquee came from Absolute Canvas based in Cornwall. Jo wanted a laidback English country theme, with vintage touches. She opted for simple flower displays, made up of seasonal countryside blooms, and collected old floral lampshades and birdcages to create an amazing display around the central pole of the marquee.
The creative bride also collected mismatched tea cups, saucers and side plates to add to her vintage country theme. The seating plan was displayed on an old wooden stepladder, and bunches of flowers were displayed in old jam jars and vases that belonged to Jo’s mum. They positioned an order of the day on an easel at the entrance to the marquee, and wrote the table names on black slate.
Jo hired a wedding planner, Nat from Jolly Good Wedding, who helped to set up the marquee whilst the bride was getting ready.
