At 4pm, after an emotional ceremony and the announcement of the new Mr & Mrs, guests were seated in ‘The Dairy’ which Jenny and her family had decorated with marquee linings, colourful bunting and multi-coloured paper lanterns.
On every table there was a potted Hydrangea in pink, white or green, alongside a collection of miniature vases (collected from local charity shops) which Jenny and her bridesmaids had filled with a selection of wild flowers the day before.
All of the invitations and stationery for the day, including the menu’s and thank you cards were designed by Jenny’s good friend Krissie Phillips. The stationery was all designed in keeping with a pink, fun, wedding theme.
A proper tea party was served, featuring a selection of delicious sandwiches, a savory selection of quiche lorraine, spinach & ricotta flan, homemade sausage rolls and handmade crisps, followed by a sweet selection of cakes and treats - not forgetting a vintage ice cream van filled with dairy refreshments.
