Matt and Jenny held their wedding ceremony and reception at Knipe Hall in Cumbria. Knipe Hall is a Grade II-Listed period farmhouse set in grounds of about three acres in the idyllic and tranquil Lowther Valley, with south and west-facing gardens. The couple had visited 3 or 4 other wedding venues before making their decision, but the beautiful location and space that Knipe Hall had to offer was ideal.
110 guest witnessed the marriage of Jenny and Matt. The bride walked down the aisle at 2pm with her father to the sounds of Cannon in D Major, played by a string quartet called The Dotted Crochets.
During the ceremony two close friends of Matt and Jenny, Rebecca and Ruth, read ‘The Lovely Dinosaurs’ complete with dinosaur props and ‘voices’. Funny but filled with sentiment, it was one of the wedding highlights – and set the tone for the rest of the day.
The couple exchanged wedding rings and kissed just after they were pronounced as husband and wife!
