Jennifer & Robert’s Real Wedding

After a glorious 10 month engagement, Jennifer and Robert shared their vows in front of 80 close family and friends at St. Mary’s Church in Westow; the very same church Rob’s parents were married several years before.  Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside and with stunning views, it was the ideal beginning to their elegant, classic and vintage themed autumn wedding day.

The Beautiful Bridesmaids

Jennifer’s sister and best friend from school (both named Emma) were fortunate enough to be chosen as the bridesmaids.  Best friend Laura, Jennifer’s roommate from university, was asked to be the Maid Of Honour and support the bride throughout the day.

With the style chosen by Jennifer and the dresses made by her talented mother, the three ‘maids gorgeous aubergine gowns tied in perfectly with the elegant vintage theme of the wedding.  Made using a layer of chiffon over satin, the delicate designs were knee-length, strapless and had a beautiful halter-neck.  Matching shoes and shawls were bought by Jennifer in a taupe shade to compliment the aubergine bridesmaid’s dresses, with each maid wearing a vintage rose headband from Debenhams and a rose pendant necklace gifted to them by Jennifer.

Previously an industry expert, a good friend of the couple did the bridesmaids’ makeup, along with Jennifer’s Mother and Aunties.
