Jennifer & Robert’s Real Wedding

After a glorious 10 month engagement, Jennifer and Robert shared their vows in front of 80 close family and friends at St. Mary’s Church in Westow; the very same church Rob’s parents were married several years before.  Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside and with stunning views, it was the ideal beginning to their elegant, classic and vintage themed autumn wedding day.

The Blushing Bride

After searching for many months, attending a wild wedding sale in London and trying on over 30 dresses, Jennifer found her dream wedding dress at a small boutique in Darlington.  Designed by Alfred Sung, the rich dark ivory satin gown was fitted below the hips with roses twisted all over the lower part of the dress.  As her something old and blue, Jennifer wore a blue topaz necklace belonging to Rob’s Mum- for whom it was originally bought by Rob’s Dad after they became engaged in the seventies.  She purchased her bridal footwear from the Untold range at House of Fraser.

To ensure she was looking her best on her big day, Jennifer hired a professional to do her makeup.  After one hair trial, Jennifer opted for a curled half-up-half-down style, accessorised with a simple mid-length veil and three cream roses.
