Jen and Matt served quite a lot of food to their guests on the day. Upon arrival at Dartington Hall their guests enjoyed nibbles and scones with clotted cream whilst sipping champagne and having their photographs taken. Everyone then sat down to a three course wedding breakfast, followed by coffees and a slice of wedding cake; a hog roast was to follow later on in the evening.
The main wedding cake was a single tier and was decorated beautifully with dainty flowers by Crazy Daisies Bakery. The florist Emma created a lovely topper for the cake that was consistent with the rest of the wedding floral theme. The main wedding cake was fruit, but vanilla cupcakes were also on hand for anyone wanting something a little more simple.
The newlywed couple opted to spend their honeymoon in Croatia. They left the morning after the wedding and were away for 10 days in total; Croatia was a destination that neither Jen nor Matt had been to before. They were able to combine sight seeing with relaxing by a private pool – it was bliss!
