There was only one obvious place for Jane to get married, and that was Keele Hall. Her father had been looking up their family history and discovered that Keele Hall was built by their ancestors in 1580, before being sold to Keele University in the 1940s.
Jane had visited it was before and was in awe of the grandeur, and loved seeing her unusual family name displayed throughout. When she discovered it was also a wedding venue, it was decided that Alan and Jane had to get married there!
The staff were extremely helpful as the couple planned their wedding long distance, and even managed to help organise accommodation for the 22 guests who attended, as many of them travelled overseas for the big day.
