As James is a former chef, gourmet food was high on his list of wedding priorities. In fact, he finds Juris’s picky approach to food a little frustrating! However, the staff at The Dorchester were able to work with James and Juris to create a delicious bespoke menu that suited both of their tastes.
Juris, James and their 28 day guests tucked into an amazing six course meal, followed by coffee and petit fours. The delicious dining experience included slow cooked Norfolk lobster with seared scallops, assiette of pork, a pre-dessert and a deconstructed black forest gateaux.
The amuse bouche consisted of mushroom and truffle veloute and the pre-dessert was a refreshing citrus granité.
The newlyweds and their guests dined at one large table, so a table plan wasn’t necessary. Each guest found their place marked with a gift bag which also doubled up as a place card.
