The couple wanted to include Juris’s Latvian heritage in their wedding, so they came up with the idea of giving out miniature bottles of Latvian fizz as evening favours. The bottles of bubbly were wrapped in vintage looking brown paper, secured with a cheeky ‘bottom’s up!’ tag.
Rather than hire a DJ, James and Juris created a bespoke iPod playlist that they knew would hit all the right notes with their guests. They also hired a saxophonist for an extra touch of class. They didn’t want a traditional jazz saxophonist though, and instead found someone who could provide an Ibiza party vibe to the proceedings. Zebra Plays Saxophone even freestyled to club classics, going down a storm with the guests.
Takes 2 Videos were also hired alongside the Latvian wedding photographer Janis Ratnieks, and recorded video messages from the guests for the couple to treasure for years to come.
