Holly and her bridesmaids had a Christmas weekend away in London, and bridesmaid Dominique organised some wedding shop trips. One shop was out of Holly’s price range, but they decided it would be fun to try on some expensive dresses anyway.
As luck would have it, Holly fell in love with one of the dresses she tried. Fortunately the Charlie Brear gown was actually within her price range! She tracked it down a little closer to home, buying it from Perfect Day Bridal. The dress consisted of an ivory silk slip with a lace overlay, which Holly had customised with lace cap sleeves. A blush pink sash added a gentle hint of colour.
The bride wore her nanny’s gold chain as her something old, and Dominique lent her a sapphire pendant, which she wrapped around her bouquet.
