After the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife, theyir wedding guests headed over to the Bondhay Golf Club in Whitwell. The couple had viewed a few venues during their wedding planning but decided that the golf club was both comfortable and appealing to everyone. A traditional wedding breakfast was served for the 85 guests attending the wedding, who were then joined by a further 55 guests, bringing the total up to 140 for the evening reception. The table names were all labeled after destinations in Cornwall as this is where Helen and Gavin spent their first holiday together after having dated for just 4 months.
Helen’s neighbour Audrey was kind enough to take care of all the floral arrangements throughout the day. The bride carried a gorgeous teardrop style bouquet and her bridesmaids carried smaller posy-style wedding flowers. Audrey also designed the flowers for the church including the pedestals, boxes and pew ends.
