Helen loves vintage VW Beetles so the couple decided to hire one to take the bride and her father over to the church. The couple also hired an old fashioned VW campervan which transported the bridesmaids over to the church. Both modes of transport were booked through Big Day Buses and the service they provided was excellent.
The ceremony took place at St Peter and St Paul’s Church in Todwick and the ceremony was conducted by the vicar at the time, Margaret. The church choir sang in the background and an organist played sweet music as the bride walked down the aisle with her father.
The mother of the bride gave the only reading which came from ‘The Book of Ruth’ and the couple exchanged rings that had been designed bespoke by George at Broomhill.
