Hazel & Scott’s Real Wedding

Hazel and Scott had a fantastically Scottish day with lots of Love, laughter and whiskey! Hazel never thought that she would meet her husband on a building site!  She was the office manager and Scott was working as the site engineer at the time.  After asking to borrow Hazel’s stapler for the 100th time Scott eventually managed to ask Hazel out by putting a note on her desk along with a cup of tea.

The Wedding Cake

The wedding cake was white with small white pearls all over it, and the centre tier had a dark blue ribbon with a diamante brooch. The cake had the traditional 3 tiers.  The bottom tier was fruit cake and the other two were sponge cake with jam.  The cake was created by Scott’s mother and a friend, and then another family friend added the icing and decoration.

After several memorable wedding speeches, a first dance to Etta James’ ‘At Last’, and dancing the night away to a disco, Hazel and Scott said goodbye to their wedding guests.  They then waited two weeks before their honeymoon to Australia.

Hazel’s only wish for her wedding was ‘That it lasted longer! I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. To us it was perfect!’.
