Hannah arrived at the Church in a 1950’s Mark 5 Jaguar which had been hired by Bridal Carriages of Northamptonshire. The car was very similar to a car that David’s granddad used to own, so choosing that particular car had sentimental meaning.
Hannah and David were married at 12 noon at Ss. Peter and Paul, Kettering. Hannah’s dad walked her down the aisle to Parry’s coronation anthem ‘I was glad’ which was sung by a choir of the couples wonderful and talented friends. Hannah’s background is in Church music, so finding friends to sing at the wedding wasn’t too hard! During the ceremony several hymns were sung, including ‘Praise to the Lord the Almighty’, ‘How shall I sing that majesty’ and ‘In Christ alone’. One of David’s close friends, Ruth and Hannah’s step-dad Micheal both did readings, and the church was decorated with dark green and white pull bows instead of flowers.
