The reception had a strong New York theme, as it was the place where Hannah and Bryan got engaged. Each guest took their seat at tables named after famous places in New York, such as Central Park, 5th Avenue and Liberty Island. Each table featured a fact card explaining the history of each tables’ namesake. The guests were treated to a delicious meal, created by the venue’s Michelin-starred chefs, but adapted to suit the couple’s taste. They had ‘Michelin-starred pork crackling’, requested by northerner Bryan, and a jam roly-poly for dessert.
Later on in the evening there was a buffet of miniature foods, such as mini fish and chips and mini burgers.
The tables were decorated with white wishing trees, small flower arrangements and flickering tea lights.
