Grace had dreamt of going wedding dress shopping her whole life, however she found the actual experience quite hard! She wanted a wedding dress that would look unique but flatter her figure, and with just nine months to plan the entire wedding, the pressure was on!
In the end, the bride ended up buying the second dress she tried on, after visiting three shops and trying on a lot of gowns. The 1950s style dress came from Special Occasions in Stanford-le-Hope and was one of their own designs.
She made her dress unique by pinning her nan’s sapphire engagement ring to the hem – something old, something borrowed and something blue, attached to something new!
James bought his wedding suit from Anthony Formal Wear in Billericay. He knew he wanted a light weight navy lounge suit – something different to the traditional groomswear. The couple went together to see him try it on.
