Grace walked down the aisle with her father to Aynsley Lister’s song ‘Beautiful’. The songwriter wrote it for his wife and Grace felt the romantic ballad suited the light and airy room.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Orangery at Hunton Park. James and Grace wrote their own wedding vows to add a personal touch to the proceedings, and chose several songs to place throughout the ceremony, including ‘Chasing Cars’ by Snow Patrol and ‘Hummingbird’ by BB King. James’s dad, James’s friend and two close friends of Grace’s all gave readings during the ceremony. This was the couple’s way of further including special people who were in the immediate bridal party.
The happy couple exchanged rings – James had picked out a bridal set when he bought Grace’s engagement ring, so her ring came from H Samuel, whilst his was from Beaverbrooks.
