Gillian browsed in 7 different bridalwear shops before eventually finding the dress that was perfect for her. If money were no object she would have worn a different dress for the church, reception and the evening, but Gillian narrowed her choices down and chose a dress that worked well through out the day. Her dress had all the details that she wanted. Sparkle on the front, sparkle and detail on the back so people could see that in Church, a long train, pleating on the bust and a sash under the bust which tied at the back giving a beautiful detail. It also had buttons all the way down the back and was made in taffeta which looked and felt amazing.
As you can see Gillian had quite a few bridesmaids. Bellisimo Bridalwear in Barnsley was where Gillian took the girls to buy their dresses and then they chose their own silver shoes to wear. Gillian turned to the high street when it came to inspiration for the little bridesmaids. The dresses came from Debenhams and the shoes were from BHS.
