Gemma found their wedding venue through hitched.co.uk. She made a shortlist of potential venues based on what she’d seen on site, before narrowing it down according to price and going to view a few places.
Paul and Gemma loved the converted barn at Theobalds Park, and the fact it could accommodate their guests, with many of them able to stay on site. All the staff were amazing during the planning of the wedding, especially Pawal the toastmaster, who helped to make the couple’s day so special.
The couple decorated their wedding venue with a blue, white and silver colour scheme, and used tulips on the tables at the reception, as well as birdcages and cream wooden hearts. They wanted to incorporate a rustic theme into their décor.
The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast which consisted of a duo of duck starter, a traditional lamb main and a duo of desserts to follow.
