There were two bridesmaids, Gail’s daughter Jasmine and Robin’s daughter Victoria, as well as Gail’s six year old niece Sarah as a flower girl. Jasmine was the maid of honour. Both bridesmaids wore long purple halter neck dresses, with ruffle detailing down one side and Sarah wore an ivory dress to match the bride.
Gail made sure she had the girls’ approval on the dresses, saying: ‘if you don’t like them, they’ll go straight back!’ However, Jasmine and Victoria were pleased with her choice, as it is a versatile style and colour that can be worn again to various formal occasions.
Gail and Robin gave their daughters a pair of purple pearl earrings each as a gift to remember the special day and Sarah wore a string of pearls that used to belong to Robin’s mother, in order to match Gail’s wedding jewellery.
