Gail and Robin Miller met 12 years ago through work and were a couple for ten years before their engagement. They had a very family orientated wedding, focused on their Scottish roots and were lucky enough to have their big day filmed by a videographer who just a few weeks previously had been filming the Royal Wedding.
The Bride and Groom
Robin proposed to a surprised Gail on Paradise Island in the Dominican Republic on the 1st June 2010. They were engaged for just under a year before getting married on the 21st May 2011. The couple chose the engagement ring together, after Robin remarked he wouldn’t have trusted himself to pick the right one on his own!
As they had both been married previously, Gail and Robin had a good idea of what they wanted this time around. Gail and Robin wanted their five children (from previous relationships), aged between 21 and 30, to be involved as much as possible. It was also important to Gail that her 79 year old father walked her down the aisle in traditional Scottish dress.
