Francesca is a complete chocoholic, so she knew her wedding cake had to be made from chocolate. The cake was made by La Rocca, and was smothered in milk chocolate, with white and dark chocolate roses for decoration.
The tiers were made from alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla sponge sandwiched together with chocolate and vanilla buttercream.
The cake was topped with a custom made topper from Wedding Treasures, depicting Matthew in his cycling lycra, bike at his side, and Francesca in her wedding dress with their two cats.
After the cake was cut and the dancing was done, the newlyweds set off on honeymoon to the Greek Islands, where they stayed in two different hotels and experienced a mix of lively adventures and relaxing days on the beach – the perfect way to begin life as husband and wife!
