Fiona’s mum has always been a great baker so it was a natural choice that she would be making the wedding cake. The three tier cake consisted of one lemon layer with lemon curd, one chocolate layer with chocolate filling and a fruit layer. The cake was decorated with fabulous pink iced gerberas and navy ribbon to tie in with the rest of the wedding colour theme.
The topper was a collection of icing gerberas, with sparkling “A & B” letters. Andrew’s Nickname for Fiona is B, even though her name is Fi, so it felt only right to have a B instead of an F sitting on the top of their cake.
The wedding cake was served on the evening buffet and literally six and a half hours after their first dance to 'Heaven' by DJ Sammy, newlyweds Fiona and Andrew set off on their honeymoon to Sorrento! They were exhausted after such a busy day, but thoroughly enjoyed every moment of their wedding and wouldn’t have changed a thing.
