Ffion and Les’s wedding cake was covered in white icing and featured pink and grey swirls of ribbon around each tasty tier. Flavours of chocolate sponge, very vanilla and luscious lemon were created by Sally’s Scrumptious Cakes, a company local to Aberystwyth. The cake was all eaten on the big day and the cake topper matched the wedding invitations that had been sent out earlier in the year.
During the reception the bride had written a poem for her groom to reflect them having been together for a decade; it was titled ‘An Ode to my Penparcau Boy’.
From 8pm until midnight ACM Entertainment Disco played songs after the newlyweds danced their first dance to One Day by Elbow, which was proceeded by Brown Eyed Girl (in honour of Ffion)! And, to celebrate their wedding, Ffion and Les spent 5 nights in New York City; a short break so that they didn’t miss their 4 year old daughter too much.
