Emma and Matthew married at Tamworth Spiritual Church. Unfortunately, Matthew was very ill at the time of the wedding and sadly passed away four days after the couple became husband and wife. They had the wedding of their dreams and got to call each other husband and wife before his untimely death.
Emma and Matthew’s Burgundy Themed Wedding
Matthew and Emma met on dating website Plenty of Fish. They started off slow, becoming Facebook friends and chatting to each other through text for a while before deciding to go on a date. After their first date they continued to message each other for two months before embarking on their second date.
By this point they were totally head over heels in love with each other, and continued dating for almost a year before getting engaged.
Before Matthew popped the question, every time they went to their favourite Italian restaurant Emma was on edge, expecting Matthew to get down on one knee. After a year together, he finally did it! They’d enjoyed their dinner and were waiting for dessert when he proposed in the middle of the restaurant.
He proposed with a beautiful ring featuring three aquamarine stones and two diamonds either side of the beautiful blue stones. They were engaged for a year before tying the knot.
