Emma & Graham’s Real Wedding

Emma and Graham tied the knot on the 16th December 2011 at Mountains Country House in Kent, after meeting on a blind date just over three years before. Their gorgeous purple and cream themed wedding was attended by 70 of the couple’s friends and family, all delighted to celebrate with the happy couple.

Emma thought it would be too difficult to pick friends to be bridesmaids, so chose to have two of her nieces and Graham’s niece as maids, and her youngest niece as a flower girl. She let the girls choose their own dresses, as long as they were purple. This worked out well as the two older girls, aged 10 and 11, didn’t want to be dressed the same as the six year old. They bought the gowns from D’Zage, with two being made of purple taffeta and one made from purple satin, but all three having similar detailing on the bodice. The flower girl’s dress was bought from Debenhams.

The bridesmaids all had their hair curled into delicate ringlets, and accessorised with peacock feather headbands. They carried cream, circular flower arrangements. Graham and Emma gave them matching necklaces to wear on the day.
