Having seen a variety of venues across Southern England, Emma and David fell in love with Lympne Castle for their wedding reception; a stunning 13thCentury Kentish Castle with beautiful views over Romney Marshes and the Channel and just a minute’s walk from the church.
For their table centrepieces, Emma and David used a large white church candle within a winter wreath of twigs and berries. A hamper with driftwood sign (in line with their wedding invites) was provided as an alternative to a post box and on each table Emma and David placed an origami “chatterbox” containing details of facts about each of the guests, which had been asked for on the wedding invite. A fortune telling fish and newlyweds quiz was included, with the winning team being awarded a bottle of champagne.
Emma and David treated their 65 wedding guests to a delectable three course meal, followed by cheese and snacks later on in the evening, as well as a sweetie table.
