The couple’s bridesmaid, Jenni, first introduced Emma and Daniel to each other. They hit it off and were together for eight years before Daniel proposed whilst on a weekend away.
They were staying at Castle Coombe with a friend who would later be Daniel’s best man, and his girlfriend. The couple were unpacking in their room when he started telling her he’d saved up for an engagement ring, but had spent the money. He then presented her with a beautiful engagement ring!
Emma had previously told Daniel what style of ring she liked, and he had one custom made by his brother’s godfather, who is a jeweller.
The bride and groom were engaged for 20 months before marrying in a traditional church wedding. They said their vows in front of 92 of their closest friends and family, and were joined by a further 100 for the evening celebrations.
