After meeting at a musical festival, Harry and Emily dated for two and a half years before getting engaged. The couple married in a traditional church ceremony, and celebrated with a burgundy and navy themed reception, which was inspired by wine and stilton cheese!
The Bride and Groom
Emily and Harry first met whilst at the Isle of Wight festival. Harry lifted Emily on to his shoulders to give her a better view of Paul McCartney as he performed ‘Hey Jude’.
The couple were together for just over two and a half years when Harry proposed to Emily. They were walking in the hills near Emily’s parents’ house when he asked her to proof read one of the scripts he’d written. On the 4th page he’d added in a proposal speech, which he recited to her whilst down on one knee.
It was the best way he could have proposed, and he chose a beautiful emerald engagement ring for Emily.
Almost a year to the day after his thoughtful proposal, Harry and Emily were married in a traditional church wedding, which they followed with a luxury honeymoon to the Maldives.
