Craig and Emily chose to hold their wedding at Ash Barton Manor, a huge old farm house with barns and 25 acres of land, close to the sea. The couple were able to completely hire the place for them and their guests, and did the whole thing themselves in terms of decorating and food.
Emily and Craig were both born in Devon, and grew up in the countryside near the sea, so it was the perfect choice.
They decorated with a summer, country garden theme with lots of pastel shades and fresh flowers. Emily’s family business creates wooden items and the couple’s surname is Woodgate, so they were sure to include lots of wooden details too, including wooden bunting!
A barbecue wedding breakfast was enjoyed by all, before it was time for outdoor games, including a competitive welly toss!
