Emily and Craig first met when they were teenagers. It took four years for them to get together, but once they did they were inseparable. The couple married on a hot summer’s day at a beautiful rustic barn in Devon, surrounded by 40 of their nearest and dearest.
Mr and Mrs
After meeting as teenagers whilst they were both working as lifeguards at their local pool, it took Craig four years to work up the courage to ask Emily out.
The long wait paid off though, as the couple soon realised they were meant to be together. After five years of dating, and a friendship that spanned nine years, Craig asked Emily to be his wife on top of Cape Cornwall, a place that is very special to Emily and her family.
He presented his future wife with a ring he’d designed himself, and she was delighted. The bride and groom began excitedly planning their wedding, which was to take place in seven months’ time – Emily couldn’t wait any longer than that!
Craig and Emily chose to marry in a barn and have a laidback wedding – no dress code, a welly toss and picnics on the grass were the order of the day!
