Emily and Ben spent 21 months planning their perfect marquee wedding. Their country garden themed day incorporated photographs with piglets, a tractor, a pink and green colour scheme, a traditional church wedding ceremony and a dream honeymoon to the wonderful island of Bali.
Fun on the Farm
Emily and Ben grew up in neighboring villages. Attending both primary and secondary school together the pair grew to be friends and later developed their relationship after attending a badminton club together. The couple dated for ten years before Ben decided to pop the question.
Ben’s proposal to Emily came as a complete surprise. He took her to the seaside town of Eastbourne for the weekend where they enjoyed a picnic at Birling Gap before going for a romantic stroll along the beach. Ben got down on one knee and proposed with a stunning ring he’d chosen himself, and the couple were engaged for 21 months before tying the knot.
Emily went wedding dress shopping with her mum and sister in hope of finding the perfect gown. They visited a new bridalwear shop in Ipswich, Suffolk Bridal Company and Emily fell instantly in love with the designer Pronovias. After six hours of trying on numerous different styles, Emily eventually made a decision on the perfect gown.
