Very early on in their wedding planning, Emily and Anthony decided they didn’t want a traditional wedding cake. Emily loves to bake, and felt beautiful wedding cakes rarely taste as good as they look, so they got crafty.
Cakes were bought from Choccywoccydoodah, Hummingbird Bakery, Marks and Spencer, and Waitrose, and their dessert table was covered with the following irresistible treats: chocolate cake, lemon cake with white chocolate truffle, red velvet cupcakes, carrot cupcakes, pecan pie, Irish cream cheesecake, tarte au citron, mini cheesecake bites, macarons, profiteroles, fruit tartlets, and a selection of cheeses, crackers, and oat cakes, so there was something for everyone!
Cake boxes were left out and guests were encouraged to take some of the delectable treats home with them as favours. After the speeches were made and the cake was cut into, the newlyweds and their guests partied to a DJ.
