Elena and Haydn had a very happy and relaxed wedding day surrounded by a total of 90 members of their family and friends. The couple tried to make their day as personal as possible and chose to decorate with a cobalt blue colour scheme from start to finish. They did go over budget, but it was 100% worth every penny!
The New Mr & Mrs
After dropping out of University and moving with her mother to a new town, Elena felt pretty lonley and miserable. But things changed when she got invited to the housewarming party of a friend who had recently moved in with two other friends – Haydn being one of them. At first Elena didn’t like Haydn’s drunken antics and felt that he was a bit too loud for her liking, but the next evening she saw Haydn making his roommates a packed lunch for work the next day and realised that he was actutully quite sweet! Elena spent every weekend round at Haydn’s after that night and the rest, they say, is history.
Haydn proposed at Penarth Pier in Wales on the day the couple celebrated their third anniversary. They bought a cup of tea and sat on a bench over looking the sea as Elena went on and on about how beautiful the view was. Without Elena realising, Haydn produced a small box containing an engagement ring that he had bought with his mother the week before. It was the perfect engagement and the couple couldn’t have been happier about announcing their news.
