The couple cut into a classic three tiered sponge cake, covered in white icing with green ribbon and butterflies. It was made by Flojo’s Cakes in Falkirk. The cake was cut up and served to guests as part of the evening buffet.
As Elaine and Stephen planned their wedding with such short notice, a honeymoon wasn’t on the cards. The couple had already gone away that summer, so they spent the time following their wedding relaxing at home and enjoying the company of family and friends.
Even though the wedding planning process was a bit of a blur, there’s nothing Elaine would change about her special day! Marrying her soul mate was perfect.
