The excited bride-to-be started searching for her wedding dress online in November 2011, just 2 months after her engagement. After trying on a few different designs at a local bridalwear shop, Dorota couldn’t find anything she liked, or that she felt would suit her destination wedding in Dubrovnik. She tried on a design by Agnes Bridal, a European bridalwear designer, and fell in love with the simplicity and elegance of the way Agnes Bridal gowns looked on her figure. Unable to purchase the specific design she loved her in the UK, the couple travelled to Poland together to buy the gown she loved. Dorota even let the groom decide between two dresses, as she doesn’t believe in the tradition of hiding the dress from the groom before the big day.
Dorota loves lace and simplicity and this strapless dress was just perfect for her European wedding. Dorota also loves vintage and with the architecture of Dubrovnik’s old town, this dress was the ideal choice. The bride-to-be decided to wear sandals instead of heels on her wedding day so that she’d be comfortable on the beautiful marble floor which lines the town of Dubrovnik.
