Hiren and Dorianne got married in a city called Machico which happens to be where both of Dorianne’s parents were born. Her mother walked her down the aisle to the acoustic version of Sarah Barellies ‘I chose you’ at 1pm and four readings were given by Dorianne’s cousin, brother-in-law, cousin's son and nephew. The couple exchanged wedding rings that they’d purchased at a little jewellery store in Wimbledon just a week before they set off for their Portugese wedding.
After their perfect wedding ceremony, the newlywed couple and their guests travelled a 20 minute journey to Quinta Jardins do Logo; a quaint 5 star Manor House based in Funchal.
When searching for the ultimate Portugese wedding venue, Hiren and Dorianne visited around 10 different locations before stumbling across Quinta Jardins do Logo. They knew that they’d be inviting around 100 guest, 30 of them being children, so the chosen venue needed to accommodate adults and children appropriately.
