Donna originally wanted to arrive at her wedding in a horse and carriage, but opted for a 1928 Rolls Royce Phantom as she needed something large to accommodate her dress! She chose the car as the registration plate ended in ‘DEL’, which reminded her of Scott as he works in a market and she thinks of him as her ‘Del Boy’!
The bride walked down the aisle with her father as the classic ‘Bridal March’ played. She carried a bouquet of pink and ivory silk roses, studded with diamnates. These were created by a friend.
The wedding party sang ‘Jerusalem’ and ‘Amazing Grace’ before Scott and Donna exchanged rings bought from the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham. The newlyweds left the church to the sound of Christina Perri’s ‘Thousand Years’, carrying Oscar-James so they were walking as family.
