Matt and Danielle decorated their wedding reception with a periwinkle blue colour scheme, as they wanted a colour that wouldn’t look too washed out or be too over powering. It suited the summery day perfectly.
The wedding tables were simply decorated with blue organza and had goldfish bowl centrepieces with featured three floating flowers above a bed of blue gemstones. All of the tables, which were adorned with glittering blue crystals, were named after places the couple visited together. The top table was named ‘Bangkok’ as it’s the first holiday destination the pair plan to go to as husband and wife.
Danielle and Matt used their wedding favours to pay tribute to Danielle’s late father. They donated money to the Ellenor Lions Hospice in Gravesend as they looked after him wonderfully in his last few days. Guests received a printed poem, a heart shaped chocolate and a key ring from the hospice. They also included a photo of Danielle’s dad and his motorbike crash helmet at the end of the receiving line to make sure he was prominently featured at the wedding.
