Dom and Clare married in a traditional wedding with a vintage inspired theme and lots of sparkle! They married in the church where Clare was christened before hosting their reception at Beechwood Park, where Dom went to school.
Dom and Clare’s Traditional Vintage Wedding
Clare and Dom first met when they worked on the same music course years ago. Dom asked Clare out but she turned him down as she felt he was too young for her!
A few months later though she texted him and invited him out for an informal drink and a curry, and the evening went so well she reconsidered her decision. Their first proper date involved a trip to the theatre to see Wicked and a Japanese meal.
Their relationship was long-distance for a year and a half as Dom lived in Germany, but then they moved in together and got their gorgeous Springer Spaniel Chula. On their third anniversary, Dom proposed. They got together on the 18th April 2011, got engaged on the 19th April 2014 and married on the 20th April 2015!
The thoughtful groom popped the question by whisking Clare away for a romantic weekend in Stratford-upon-Avon. He packed a picnic complete with champagne and gave her a custom made ring which was designed in Hatton Garden.
