The wedding reception took place in a marquee in the garden of Claire’s parents’ home. She’d always wanted to get married at home, and it meant they were able to invite a large number of guests and decorate exactly how they wanted to.
The autumn colour palette was complemented with a book theme. Guests found their places by studying a table plan which consisted of vintage plates mounted onto a board covered in book themed wallpaper. Each table was named after a different author.
Richard and Claire hired Pomegranate Catering to prepare the wedding breakfast, and they and their 126 guests enjoyed an antipasto starter, followed by chateau briande with chocolate bombe for dessert!
