Phil and Claire’s wedding cake was a traditional Caribbean fruit and rum cake made by Claire’s uncle Enoch. It had three tiers and was decorated by a member of his church with purple and pink iced flowers. The couple also had the most wonderful cake topper provided by Heather’s Cakes of Great Yarmouth. People couldn’t believe the likeness of the figures. The cake was cut and handed out to guests through out the evening after both the Wedding Breakfast and evening buffet had been served. Some cake was given to guests as they left to go home, but there was still enough left over to deliver to Claire and Phil’s neighbours once they returned home.
The newlywed couple spent 3 nights in the wonderful surroundings of Hintlesham Hall Hotel right after the wedding and have planned a honeymoon to Antigua for later on in the year. They did go slightly over their wedding budget, but at the end of the day it was all totally worth it!
